Battle of Lepanto - SS

The naval encounter on 7 October 1571, Lepanto, was a great sea battle between the Holy League, a coalition of Catholic states (comprising Spain and most of Italy) and the Ottoman Empire. Despite facing great casualties, the Ottoman forces demonstrated remarkable resilience, constructing over 110 ships for the upcoming campaign season.
